ZENON Automation SAICT, a company with extensive expertise in the design and implementation of robotic and automation solutions for the end-of-line, successfully completed a fully automated order picking and dispatch system for LION PHARMA, a company which specializes in the distribution of pharmaceutical products.

ZENON collaborated with CSA ("SOTIRIS MATSOUKAS INFORMATICS SA"), which supplied LIONPHARMA the ERP & WMS software of the line.

Robotic palletizing system at SCA

Zenon Automation SAICT, a company with extensive experience and expertise in the design and integration of robotic and automation solutions for the end-of-line, has installed a palletizing project in England, thus consolidating its presence in Europe and the Middle East.

Specifically, ZENON has successfully completed the installation of a robotic palletizing system for carton cases at the factory of SCA in Lancashire, England. SCA, a leading global paper and personal care products company, was seeking a palletizing solution for carton cases for a new packaging line.

Zenon Automation at Interpack 2014

A Greek global innovation in packaging automation

Zenon Automation SAICT participated successfully at the prestigious packaging exhibition INTERPACK in Dusseldorf in Germany between 8th– 14th May 2014. In our booth we launched in the international market the MEL System (Modular End-of-Line).

The MEL System® (Modular End-of-Line) is a breakthrough in the design and implementation of integrated end-of-line systems. The end-of-line starts after the individual product packaging machines and continues until the shipping units (carton, multipacks, pallets etc.). It includes all the necessary intermediate functions for the finalization of the product and for its safe transportation throughout the supply chain: coding and identification, checkweighing, case packing, palletizing, stretch wrapping of the pallets, sorting etc.

The use of robotics in order to reduce packing costs

2013 was a record year for the greek robotics company Zenon Automation SAICT, which successfully undertook and installed major automation projects for the packaging line in industries such as: Athenian Brewery, Pepsico, Tasty, Unilever, Del Monte, Syngenta, Aspis, Karamolegos, Attica Terra (Illy, Dimello), Kri Kri and others.

Zenon Automation SAICT approaches the packaging line as a single set consisting of independent modules for its individual phases (boxing, palletizing, etc). With the exploitation of robotic scada and MES technologies, Zenon Automation SAICT achieves impressive cost savings, guaranteed productivity and improved product handling in the supply chain.

Theodorou Group successfully participated at the International Packaging, Machines & Printing & Logistics Exhibition, Syskevasia 2012 between 9th and 12th November. In a single space of 260 sqm we presented the PACK ARROW, a comprehensive proposal for the end of line automation.
